Mad Libs Official Website » Fun Stuff
I just learned that Mad Libs, the classic creative word game, can be played online. The game that I played was Mad Libs for President. In the game I selected adjectives, nouns, and verbs from randomly generated lists. Had I not liked any of the words in the lists, I had the option of typing in my own word choices. When the Mad Lib was completed I could have printed the end result.

Media Converter – the fastest free online audio and video converter
This looks like a great fast, easy way to convert media online to a format that you can use offline in a classroom. Even comes with a Firefox extension for ease of use.

CREATE A TALKING FACE: PhotoFace has just added the ability to record audio. You can upload your own photo or choose from a variety on PhotoFace. Then, you can “age” it, make the person heavier or lighter, make a number of other edits,and then make it talk. Once you’re done you can email the link to a friend or teacher for inclusion in an online journal or blog.

This is a great science site for kids. It shows how to make a series of science toys from simple objects. Each “toy” has lots of photos to show how it works and there are PDFs with diagrams showing the stages. Great resource
